An app for sauna clubs - why do you have to have it? Part 1

An App for sauna clubs – why do you need one? – Part 1

The sauna club industry is huge and accordingly there are now just as many websites and forums dedicated to this topic. They all give an overview of all the existing clubs, you can look at pictures and exchange views in the forums – so why exactly would you need an app for that as well?

The range of websites is large and if you want, you can get all the information you could wish for here. The homepages are often inviting and elaborately designed, so you can get a good picture of the sauna club here. Plus, you're anonymous here and don't have to put your hobby on display for everyone to see.

An app doesn't offer this at first, since it usually requires personal data and it can happen much more easily that your own phone ends up in the hands of others who perhaps shouldn't know what you get up to after work or on the weekend. Actually the app seems rather superfluous, yet there are quite a few of them – why exactly is that?

The big advantage first of all is that with the app you're mobile and spontaneous. Nowadays you have your phone in your pocket at all times, and if the urge suddenly hits you, you can quickly check which club is nearby right now. This is especially handy when you're a stranger in a city and don't know your way around. Especially since in that situation you often can't get to a PC, particularly not your own, so having a suitable app really pays off. This also applies to foreign guests who come here and might want a bit of fun in the evening. Here too, it's easier to check for a sauna club nearby via app. Plus, you can switch between different languages here, which sometimes happens with websites too, but isn't the rule.
