FV-Special: German FKK versus Spanish Puticlubs

 - "Hello, FreierVerkehr, why don't you have Spanish clubs in your database?" - "Are there any sauna clubs in Spain?" - "Hello, I'll be in Spain soon, can anyone recommend good clubs to me?" - "Spain is much better than Germany, forget German sauna clubs, Spain is where it's at!"

Time for a FreierVerkehr special.

"German-styled" FKK- & sauna clubs are on everyone's lips worldwide. They exist almost exclusively in the German-speaking area, which includes Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the border regions. These clubs are the flagship product of German brothel culture that attracts visitors from all over the world. Germany is one of the most important paysex destinations in the world and in any case the most important in Europe. Thanks to the still comparatively liberal legislation, large brothels have been able to establish themselves in Germany that have no equal in the world - with one exception:SpainIn Spain, brothels of similar size have been able to establish themselves as in German-speaking countries, so that internationally experienced observers are always happy to make comparisons between the Iberian titans and the Teutonic FKK. It is estimated that 200,000-300,000 prostitutes work in both countries, far more than in any other country in Europe. But what about the legendary Spanish sex clubs? Are they a more rewarding destination than German clubs? And why have large brothels been able to establish themselves on the Pyrenean peninsula of all places? Read on and learn more about the Spanish clubs! --->

Prostitution is everywhere in the world. It has developed across cultures in the game of the sexes as a logical consequence of the constant male demand for sexual contact with women. There have always been women who knew how to use this demand as a lucrative source of income. Of course, women can also be demanders of sexual services, but similar to homosexual prostitution, this is not a mass phenomenon and can be neglected here.

The situation in Europe:

Prostitution, the demand for prostitution, pimping or the running of brothels are prohibited by law in many countries of the world. The extent to which prostitution can actually be found in the individual countries depends to a large extent on the extent to which its practice is tolerated socially and administratively despite any formal prohibitions. In Russia, for example, prostitutes theoretically run the risk of being sanctioned with fines for the performance of their activities, which are, however, low and rarely imposed; accordingly, prostitution is common practice in Russia. The situation in Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro and Albania is different: prostitution is strictly prohibited in these countries. In Sweden, Norway, Iceland and since 2016 also in France the demand for prostitution is rigidly sanctioned; in England the operation of brothels is forbidden just like in the Czech Republic, where nobody cares, though, and in Italy, finally, street prostitution in particular is flourishing due to restrictive legislation.

It must be borne in mind that legalizing or at least tolerating prostitution is not yet a sufficient condition for establishing a flourishing brothel landscape in a country. In most countries, brothels are illegal. Germany, Austria and Switzerland are countries whose prostitution legislation is among the most liberal in the world. Especially in Germany, Europe's biggest domestic market, the framework conditions favoured the establishment of numerous larger sex clubs, mostly in the form of sauna clubs and flat-rate clubs, at the latest after the Prostitution Act came into force in 2002. Similarly liberal legal situations as in the German-speaking countries can only be found in Europe in the Netherlands and Greece, where a comparable wave of sex clubs was not founded.

The situation in Spain:

In contrast to almost all other European countries, Spain currently has a legal situation with regard to prostitution that can be described as a legal vacuum. Prostitution is not explicitly allowed, but it is also not explicitly forbidden. In Spain, the concrete handling by the authorities is decisive for the prosperity of prostitution. At the latest with the 2008/2009 financial crisis, which hit Spain as hard as Greece, in particular with regard to unemployment rates, there is a "laisser-faire" policy on the administrative side; the authorities only take offence at prostitution when side effects such as trafficking and gang pimping come into play. This means that the overall conditions are currently still favourable, especially for the establishment of large brothels, which only exist on a comparable scale in German-speaking countries, because brothels are also prohibited in most of those countries in which prostitution is legal as such. Due to its linguistic and cultural affinities, Spain is an important meeting place for sex workers from Latin America and other Romance countries, especially Romania, but also for numerous African women. Accordingly, countless sex establishments have spread across Spanish territory according to the motto "what is not expressly forbidden is permitted". The hotspots are quickly identified: Besides the metropolises Madrid and Barcelona, the big clubs can be found mainly in the holiday regions around Alicante, Malaga, Marbella, Mallorca, Ibiza as well as in northern Catalonia in the border region to France. FreierVerkehr has created a link collection for you with the most renowned clubs from these regions, which you can view below on this page.

What is the difference between Spanish and German clubs, what do they have in common, where does a woman take better care of male happiness and what is the cost of fun on both sides?

Concept:

Large Spanish clubs are usually neither FKK nor spa and sauna clubs, so they are not listed in the FreierVerkehr database. You will only occasionally find topless girls there, hour-long recreational stays with several sauna sessions, pool visits, rest periods in relaxation areas, meals, and free drinks including free beer are not planned and full-day stays of more than 10 hours are absurd. The Spanish clubs correspond to the habit common in Mediterranean countries of going to a club in the late evening for a glass and, if necessary, making a nice acquaintance. Afterwards one moves further around the houses, goes to eat well and pays according to desire and mood still another second, third or fourth location a visit. Accordingly, the entrance prices in Spanish clubs are relatively low and are mostly 10-20 EUR, for which one gets a free drink at best; maybe the entrance is also free, so that one simply "takes a quick look". During longer stays, however, the beverage costs increase to much higher heights than in German clubs with their all-inclusive culture. Spanish clubs are well comparable with large-scale discos, it is mostly deafeningly loud, seats are hardly available, opening hours start only in the early evening and before 10 p.m. mostly it is as dead as a dodo. The different conceptions of Spanish and German clubs each create their cultural flair: While in the heated atmosphere of Spanish big clubs one inevitably gets an adrenaline rush and is taken to task by numerous female "prey hunters", in German sauna clubs one sits down in a corner alone or with friends and chats a little, while one casually takes a look at the passing women, if necessary one changes to the health resort of the club, to the porn cinema, restaurant or in the summer one simply lies down at the outdoor pool in the garden and enjoys oneself; in short: a sauna club has a completely different schedule. Whether one finds this more interesting is a matter of personal preferences, individual temperament and possibly also a question of age.

Line-up:

More than 200 international girls work in the big Spanish clubs at peak times, which is far more than you can find in the German titans, who usually have 50-80 girls on good days. In the many smaller clubs there are mostly 10-40 girls present. You will meet mainly attractive to very attractive women, predominantly from Eastern Europe and Latin America, but also from Africa and Asia.

Prices & Services:

While service prices in German clubs have been largely stable for years and relatively low in relation to German purchasing power, prices in Spain have risen noticeably since the financial crisis. Until recently, rates in Germany were largely determined by the clubs. This is different in Spain. Pricing is determined by the negotiating skills of the people involved. Accordingly, one can by no means rely on the fact that a girl announces the same prices for two different "clientes"; in addition, one is well advised to explicitly negotiate the prices and services in advance. Since the girls in Spanish clubs have more autonomy than traditionally in German clubs, the risk of being cheated or fobbed off with minimal service is comparatively higher there. However, after the German Prostitutes Protection Act came into force in 2017, this assessment should be treated with caution. The prices for 30 minutes of basic services in Germany are mostly 50 EUR, in Spain 50-100 EUR is to be expected. It should also not be forgotten that in Spanish clubs one quickly finds oneself in the situation of buying the girl of one's choice a drink, which quickly escalates the costs. Furthermore, the German concept is associated with a more real service in that sauna clubs do not require time in the room for undressing/dressing and washing, leaving more net playing time for real sex. A special feature should also be mentioned: In Spanish clubs you can "release" a woman for the rest of the night and leave the club with her. The release is a matter of negotiation, a sum between 300 EUR and 1000 EUR is to be expected, depending also on whether it happens before or after midnight.

Who has finally the edge in the race for the title of the best sex clubs on both sides of the Pyrenees? Spain is sun, beach, sea, fun & variety; Germany is organisation, efficiency, value for money, well-being & spa. For the French, for whom the geographical distances to Germany and Spain do not differ appreciably and who once had a world-famous brothel culture at the "fin de siècle" themselves and today prefer to seek their fortune abroad for the reasons described above, the question does not arise in this form. They differ according to gut feeling and mood, whether they prefer the tingling adventure in Mediterranean climes or prefer to entrust themselves to the traditional quality of German health resorts. One thing is for sure: like all visitors from home and abroad, they are welcome guests in the pleasure domes of adult entertainment.

Unlike in Germany, not every Spanish club has its own website. Numerous websites are frequently offline. Many clubs also stay informally in normal hotels or so-called whiskerias, which are not immediately recognizable as brothels. Nevertheless, here is a collection of links with a representative cross-section of well-known Spanish clubs:
