What to expect at FKK Plan B Windisch/Brugg (CH)

The club is located on the upper floor of an industrial building where the Club Bijou used to be based. In September 2008, Max Steiger, who's well known in the regional club scene, combined two neighbouring apartments here to create Club Plan B, which became extraordinarily popular after only a short time – thanks partly to the management's strong customer focus and partly to a line-up unusually strong for a small club. Plan B has made a name for itself as the "Bratwurst Club", because the boss personally insists on acting as grill master and treating guests to bratwursts fresh off the grill. Inside the club you'll find contact rooms with a bar, a fireplace corner, sofas, a cinema, a relatively large sauna and a small roof terrace. In the kitchen with dining table, a hearty soup is usually served. The club's price structure is very affordable by Swiss standards, and as a particularly nice gesture, guests celebrating their birthday get free admission. For the girls at Plan B, genuine FKK is the order of the day.

Brugg:

Brugg is a small town in the Swiss canton of Aargau and the main town of the district of Brugg. It lies at 352 m above sea level, about 16 km northeast of Aarau, and is easily accessible via the A3 motorway and Brugg railway station.

The area within the catchment of Brugg, Windisch, Gebenstorf, Turgi, Stilli and Untersiggenthal on the southern edge of the Jura is known as the "Wasserschloss" (water castle) of Switzerland, because here the three rivers coming from the Alps – Aare, Reuss and Limmat – merge near the Gebenstorf district of Vogelsang.

Around 58 BC, the Helvetii founded the settlement of Vindonissa near Brugg on the hill spur between the Aare and the Reuss, on the territory of what is today the neighbouring municipality of Windisch. The Romans established a military station here around 15 BC, which they expanded into a legionary camp from 14 AD onwards. In the late 10th century, a noble family – possibly descended from the Alsatian Etichonen – settled in Altenburg. Count Lanzelin had the Roman fort rebuilt into the Altenburg manor house, which today stands 1 km west of Brugg's town centre. Around 1020, the Habsburg castle was built on the Wülpelsberg, 3 km to the southwest. The Habsburgs, named after this castle, lived here for only around two hundred years. As the increasingly powerful count's family grew, they left the castle around 1220/30, as it seemed too small and lacking in prestige. It was subsequently granted to various vassals. With the conquest of the Aargau by the Confederates in 1415, the Habsburgs – who by then had built up a far more significant seat of power in Vienna – finally lost their ancestral castle for good. Since 1804, the Habsburg castle has been owned by the canton of Aargau. The castle and fort site of Altenburg, on the other hand, was bought in 1938 by the Pro Vindonissa society and the Aargau Historical Society; today it houses the town's youth hostel. The Altenburg is the earliest documented residence of the Habsburgs.

In 1284, Brugg was granted town status. Even after the Habsburgs moved away, the town remained firmly under their control until the Bernese Confederates marched in on 29 April 1415. Brugg retained its town rights; after decades of disputes over Brugg, Bern finally took control in 1460. As French troops advanced further and further at the beginning of 1798 and the end of Bernese rule became foreseeable, a revolutionary committee took power in Brugg. After French troops led by General Guillaume-Marie-Anne Brune marched into Bern on 5 March, the delegates of the large cantons established the Helvetic Republic in Aarau on 12 April. At the beginning of the 19th century, Brugg turned into a stronghold of liberalism. However, in the age of industrialisation, the political will to settle industry here was initially lacking. In 1858, Brugg was connected to the railway, and the region subsequently became a centre of livestock trading. From 1920 onwards, industry accounted for about half of all jobs. Today, around 700 small and medium-sized enterprises, especially from the service sector, are based in Brugg. Brugg is the seat of the Swiss Farmers' Union and the centre of the Swiss Corps of Engineers.

In Brugg's old town and its surroundings, many testimonies to Brugg's eventful history can still be found, such as the Schwarzer Turm (Black Tower), the Reformed town church, the Rote Haus (Red House), the Lateinschule (Latin School), the Palais Fröhlich and the Zeughaus (Armoury). The Limmat–Wasserschloss industrial heritage trail, which leads past 44 industrial-historical monuments, ends in Brugg.

Windisch is a directly neighbouring municipality of Brugg.
