Neben den weit über hundert Museen wie etwa dem Pergamon-Museum auf der Museumsinsel, dem Deutschen Historischen Museum oder dem Jüdischen Museum sind hier etwa zu nennen die Staatsoper, die Deutsche Oper Berlin, die Humboldt-Universität, der Tiergarten und der Zoologische Garten, der Potsdamer Platz als wieder neu erweckter Verkehrsknotenpunkt im vereinten Berlin, die Hackeschen Höfe, der Wannsee als Naherholungsgebiet sowie das Schloss Sanssouci in Potsdam vor den Toren der Stadt. Today, Berlin is a vibrant, modern, cosmopolitan metropolis that attracts young people in particular. The quality of life in Berlin is considered to be extremely high; there is a lot to see, admire and do.
