The Blue-Up in Pfäffikon was inaugurated in a new building in 2012. After several closures, it was reopened under the name New Blue-Up. The building is hard to miss because of its striking blue façade. The club is relatively spacious and extends over four floors, but apart from a tiny outdoor terrace there is no external area. The establishment is clean and modern
and radiates a noble and cool atmosphere with its anthracite-coloured floor slabs and the richly used chrome and glass materials and its dignified leather furniture. Room layout and infrastructure are very attractively staged: On the lower floor there is a large bar area with many seating corners, fumoir and cinema. A staircase leads up to a gallery from where you can enjoy a
beautiful panoramic view. In the upper floors, one finds the spa area with sauna, solarium, jacuzzi; in addition, rooms for physiotherapy and fitness as well as a beauty studio. The rooms are partly equipped with funny, frivolous toys, additionally a VIP room and a SM room are available. For refreshment, the club usually offers a small, cold buffet. The New Blue-Up mostly has 10-15 girls.

Pfäffikon lies on the northern shore of Lake Pfäffikon at 540 m above sea level and is about 28 km east of Zurich City. It is easily accessible via the A53 motorway and the Pfäffikon ZH railway station. The municipality of Pfäffikon includes Auslikon, Ober Balm, Unter Balm, Bussenhausen, Irgenhausen, Oberwil, Sulzberg, Hermatswil, Schür, Wallikon, Rick, Ravensbühl, Faichrüti and Rutschberg.
In medieval times the lords of Breitenlandenberg and the counts of Kyburg had the power. From 1424 Pfäffikon belonged to the Zurich State Association. The salt trade played a decisive role in this period, when Pfäffikon was granted market rights. In the age of industrialisation, important Pfäffikon companies emerged in the textile industry. In 1876 the village was connected to the railway network. In modern times, the former village has kept pace with developments in the world of work and today is home to a variety of companies in the industrial and service sectors.
The landscape around Lake Pfäffikersee is a nature reserve. In the nearby Badi am See you will find a seaside resort with children's playgrounds, restaurant, sun terrace and sauna. Here you can also rent a boat. The Pfäffikon pier by the lake is popular in the town; people promenade and chat and events take place regularly. In Pfäffikon-Irgenhausen there is the Roman fort Irgenhausen, which dates back to the 3rd/4th century AD and is under federal protection. It is one of the most beautiful and best preserved Roman buildings in Eastern Switzerland.
