What to expect at Coconut Beach Wallau/Hofheim am Taunus (D)

The Coconut-Beach chain opened three sauna clubs in 2010/2011 in Wallau near Hofheim am Taunus, Kaiserslautern and Saarlouis, which were originally conceived as discount-price clubs, partly also as package-price clubs. Since 2014, not least in view of the tightening legal situation, the strategy has been changed, and the clubs now present themselves as normal sauna clubs, but are still focused on the cheap-club market. The infrastructure of the three houses, each with a large modern lounge and a small wellness area, is quite presentable. All Coconut-Beach clubs also have a small outdoor area, as well as a domina studio with a separate entrance. The lady in question can be found alternately in one of the houses. The Saunaclub Royal in Mühlhausen/Thüringen is a partner club of the Coconut-Beach clubs. The branch in Kaiserslautern is currently closed.

The Club Coconut Beach is located in Hofheim am Taunus in the district of Wallau.

Hofheim am Taunus grew out of an old Frankish settlement. Around 30/40 AD the area was settled by the Romans, who also built two forts here that no longer exist today. Hofheim was granted town rights in 1352 under Emperor Karl IV. Over the following 250 years, the town was alternately under the rule of the Counts of Falkenstein, Eppstein-Königstein, Stolberg and the Elector of Mainz, under whom it remained permanently from 1581 onward. In 1803 Hofheim fell to the Principality of Nassau, which was incorporated into Prussia in 1866 and thereafter existed as the province of Hessen-Nassau. In its present municipal form, Hofheim has existed since 1 January 1977, together with the associated localities of Marxheim, Langenhain, Diedenbergen, Lorsbach, Wallau and Wildsachsen.

Hofheim has a charming old town with many half-timbered houses. Still preserved in the town from the Middle Ages and the early modern period are the ruined Wasserschloss Hofheim (1352-56), the town wall with the Untertor, the Hexenturm, the Historische Keller in the old town and the Alte Rathaus from 1529. Also worth a visit are the Bahá'í Temple from 1964 in the district of Langenhain and the Rhein-Main-Therme leisure pool.

Hofheim lies on the southern edge of the Taunus between the cities of Wiesbaden and Frankfurt am Main. The peaks of the Taunus mountains rising near the town underline the high leisure value of the town on the edge of the Frankfurt metropolitan area. Hofheim is therefore also a popular place to move to, with purchasing power well above the national average. The largest employer in the town is IKEA Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG, which operates its administrative headquarters here.

Hofheim am Taunus is easily accessible via the A3 and A66 motorways and has two stations in Hofheim and Lorsbach for regional passenger transport.
