After the bell rings, a mostly female employee will open the door for you and collect the entrance fee. This is always due immediately, in cash. The girls always get paid after you've been in the room, also in cash. Some clubs have their own EC machines (see database). After you have paid your entrance fee, you will receive the necessary utensils in return: the locker key, bath slippers (partly self-service), one or two towels and depending on the club a bathrobe or not. In the Hessian clubs a towel curved around the hips is the usual club clothing ("Hessen dress"), in the others a bathrobe. As a rule, you can bring your own bathrobes or slippers, towels are available as many as you need during your club visit (either for self-service or at the reception); some clubs issue only a certain quota of towels free of charge. If you are a newcomer to the club, you will usually be given a short guided tour by the receptionist or one of the girls. Some clubs have lockers and safe-deposit boxes; in this case you may also receive two keys. After changing clothes and taking a shower, the fun can begin.
