What to expect at FKK Cancun Ingolstadt (D)
FKK Cancun Ingolstadt is the former FKK Hawaii. By its own account it is the biggest sauna club in Bavaria, and guests from the not-too-distant state capital Munich, home to only smaller clubs, in particular head here for a perfect wellness day in a big club. Opened in 2008, the club is housed in a tastefully illuminated industrial hall. Inside, a large, inviting lounge with plenty of seating dominates, with various sections and rooms arranged around it. Palm trees define the look inside the club and in the pretty garden with its well-kept lawns, sun loungers, seating terraces, tent structures and the cleverly staged whirlpool, which gives the place a distinct South Seas flair. A relaxed atmosphere reigns in the lounge, not least thanks to the easy, uncomplicated paths between the club areas. Anyone heading to the wellness area passes a well-kept whirlpool, from which they can enjoy a lovely panoramic view over the lounge. Also worth mentioning is the large cinema with its plush leather sofas, on which you can get comfortably cosy with the lady of your choice, discreetly. The club is a genuine FKK club.

Sure, the city is inextricably linked with the name of one of Germany's most renowned car brands, but Ingolstadt is more than just Audi. The city where Franz Beckenbauer attended boarding school and where Horst Seehofer was born was already mentioned as a royal court in a document of Charlemagne. For centuries it was a mighty fortress city and a Bavarian duchy. The first Bavarian university was founded here in 1472, though it was relocated to Landshut in 1800 and finally to München in 1826, where today it is known as the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, the university with the most students in Germany. Ingolstadt, on the other hand, did not become home to a university again until 1989.
The largely preserved old town bears witness to a long history and invites you to explore it. The city's landmark is the Kreuztor in the western fortification ring, dating from the 14th century, which provides access to the town centre and the nearby Liebfrauenmünster. From here you can stroll wonderfully through the lanes of the old town all the way to the Neues Schloss on the eastern side of the city centre. Further east you then reach Ingolstadt Village, the well-known designer outlet.
Ingolstadt's economic development after the war is nothing short of a success story. In 1949, the newly founded Auto Union GmbH — a re-establishment of the Audi Automobilwerke GmbH Zwickau, originally founded in 1910 by August Horch — settled in the city, which is conveniently located on the A9 halfway between München and Nürnberg. The company was first majority-acquired by Daimler in 1958 and finally taken over by Volkswagen in 1968. The name Audi is the Latin singular imperative of "to listen," playfully referencing the founder's name. Today Audi stands for high-quality German car and motorcycle manufacturing, whose products now also include the brands Lamborghini and Ducati.
In the wake of this economic success, a large number of companies from the automotive supply and oil-processing sectors have settled in Ingolstadt; furthermore, the largest European chain of electronics specialty stores, Media-Saturn-Holding, is based here. Today, Ingolstadt is one of the fastest-growing municipalities in Germany and boasts the lowest unemployment rate among German major cities. Despite the robust purchasing power, the price level for erotic services in the Ingolstadt region remains moderate, especially compared to the state capital München, which — alongside Augsburg — makes Ingolstadt a popular alternative destination in this sector for Munich residents plagued by high price tariffs.
