The Club Harem is located in Bad Lippspringe to the west of the town centre, on the access road to the B1.
Bad Lippspringe near Paderborn is one of the most idyllic climatic health resorts in NRW. Situated on the edge of the Teutoburger Wald within the Teutoburger Wald/Eggegebirge nature park, this East Westphalian spa town belongs to the Kreis Paderborn. The Prinzenpalais located in the Arminiuspark, the Catholic parish church with its impressive Renaissance portal, and the listed Brunnenhaus of the Liborius Heilquelle attract a great many visitors every year. In the west and south of Bad Lippspringe's town centre, in the area along the town wall, longer sections of the town wall, which was built around 1380, are still preserved, and the stump of the former wall tower located in the southeast can still be admired today.
In its early days, the town belonged to the Duchy of Saxony. Charlemagne held three imperial assemblies here during the Saxon-Frankish War (772 to 804), in the years 776, 780 and 782. In the 14th century, the newly forming Prince-Bishopric of Paderborn took over territorial sovereignty, and its cathedral chapter built Burg Lippspringe at the source of the Lippe. The Archdiocese of Paderborn is still, after Munich and Cologne, the wealthiest diocese in Germany today. With the Peace of Lunéville concluded with France during the Napoleonic era, Bad Lippspringe came under Prussian rule in 1801 and lost the town rights it had held since 1445, which it would not regain until 1921. In 1913, the town had already been granted the official designation "Bad Lippspringe".
Today, alongside a wealth of cultural attractions, Bad Lippspringe offers numerous oases of relaxation, such as the Kurwald and three nature reserves that extend across the town area. The healing waters of the Liborius, Martins and Arminius springs can be drawn freely in Bad Lippspringe. The pretty town near Paderborn in NRW can be reached via the Bundesstraße 1 or via the A33 in combination with the B1. The nearest long-distance train stations for reaching this historic spa town are Paderborn Hbf and Altbeken. Bad Lippspringe is regarded as the "green lung" of East Westphalia. Numerous hotels and guesthouses in the town centre, as well as in the surrounding spa areas, offer visitors comfortable overnight accommodation. Bad Lippspringe is worth a trip all year round.
