What to expect at Golden Time Brüggen (D)

Even the ancient Romans knew that a good sauna session does you good. But a paradise of relaxation like Saunaclub Golden Time in Brüggen would have been granted, at best, to the gods even by the most pampered emperors and Caesars: covering a total area of nearly 12000 sqm, North Rhine-Westphalia's largest sauna club presents itself with a convincing overall package of wellness and entertainment that leaves no visitor cold. Anyone who thinks Golden Time is some nondescript provincial brothel is in for a surprise. The westernmost German sauna club, separated from the Dutch border by nothing more than a small stretch of forest, is superbly organised and has long since become a pilgrimage site for discerning sauna club connoisseurs from home and abroad – chiefly from the Netherlands and Belgium. Already by early afternoon the lounge of the spacious bungalow is buzzing like a beehive, with female and male guests alike streaming through the premises and, especially in pleasant outdoor temperatures, into the gorgeous outdoor grounds, where brunch can be enjoyed. Meanwhile, inclined guests can head to the atrium of the building to visit the generously sized sauna, splash about in the wonderful whirlpool, get a massage, simply relax, or pop right next door to the always well-attended cinema. Golden Time's shining trademark is its paradisiacal, densely wooded outdoor area, styled like a well-tended English garden with a pond, pretty planting and expansive sunbathing lawns, which is roughly ten times the size of the indoor facilities. The club takes great care of its guests' physical wellbeing. Around the clock, various menus are prepared here using a front-cooking concept, with the menu plan drawn up weekly and viewable in advance on the club's website. This offering is complemented by a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. You can follow important sporting events in complete comfort on the big screens. Golden Time is one of the most respected sauna clubs in all of Germany and is at your disposal seven days a week. Feel free to also use the regularly held events, parties and special occasions as an opportunity to get to know this club up close. On the always up-to-date blog on the Golden Time website you'll find the house's latest news, and exclusive content is also published on Facebook and other social networks. The club is generous towards birthday guests, granting them free entry. Your stay at Golden Time will remain in your memory as a truly golden time. When will you let Golden Time enchant you?
