Club Gallardo is located in Hamminkeln, on the northern edge of the town centre.
Hamminkeln on the Issel is a town within the district of Wesel. A large part of the town's area lies within the Hohe Mark-Westmünsterland nature park. The Rhine flows about 10 km to the west of the town centre; the area in between is largely shaped by the lake district of the Bislicher Meer.
The region along the Issel was already known in Roman times; during the Migration Period around 350 AD, the river formed the border between the Christian Franks to the west and the Saxons east of the river. Historically, the town belonged to the Duchy of Cleves. Since 1 January 1975, Hamminkeln has formed today's town of Hamminkeln together with Brünen, Dingden, Loikum, Mehrhoog, Ringenberg and Wertherbruch.
The town is easily reached via the A57 motorway as well as via the two railway stations Hamminkeln and Dingden, on the Wesel–Bocholt line, and via the Mehrhoog railway station on the Düsseldorf-Oberhausen-Arnhem line. Worth seeing in the district of Ringenberg is the moated castle of the same name. Well-known employers in the town include the German clothing retail chain Bonita, the Feldschlösschen brewery founded in 1852, the van Nahmen KG fruit press, and the internationally known motorcycle manufacturer Thunderbike.
