What to expect at Mystic Gentlemen's Club Wals (A)

The Mystic Gentlemen's Club Wals is the former sauna club FKK Mystic. If you're coming from Berchtesgadener Land and heading over the A8 towards Salzburg, then right at the state border on the Austrian side, not far from Salzburg Airport, you'll already see the FKK Mystic along with the neighbouring Laufhaus, both reachable via a discreetly hidden forest path (tip: park on the Grenzwaldweg at the Shell petrol station and walk over to the club). The Mystic is run by an operating company that belongs to investor Jürgen Rudloff's Paradise Island Entertainment GmbH, whose flagship venue is the → The Paradise Stuttgart. Shades of brown dominate in this club, which is fully air-conditioned and equally cosy and elegant, with an interior design that's a bit winding and maze-like. At the Mystic there are plenty of seating options on sofas and chairs, but above all a fantastic panoramic view of the mountains of the Salzburg and Berchtesgadener regions. In the wellness area you'll find a sauna, steam bath, massage room and relaxation zones. The club has a smoking lounge and, on top of that, also a VIP lounge, cinema, WLAN support and a lovely garden area with an outdoor pool. At the Mystic you're catered for with really hearty food, the kitchen is absolutely excellent, and the club also serves free beer. At the Mystic, real FKK is the order of the day for the girls.

The Club FKK Mystic near Salzburg is located in Walserberg southwest of Salzburg Airport.

Anyone who didn't already know it will be reminded at every turn in Salzburg that Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the greatest child prodigy in music history, was born in this city. A walk through the Getreidegasse in the old town turns out to be an entertaining stroll between beautiful house portals, historic inns, guild buildings and Mozart's birthplace, of course interspersed with numerous fashion, jewelry and tourist boutiques. The predominantly baroque splendour of the cityscape reveals itself in the old town at Residenzplatz, the cathedral and the Stiftskirche, and furthermore in the pleasure palaces of Mirabell and Hellbrunn. Above the rooftops of the old town, the city's landmark - the Hohensalzburg Fortress, the largest fully preserved castle in Central Europe - beckons for the strenuous climb.

A walk across the Salzach into the new town on the right bank offers the visitor fresh impressions. Here Salzburg shows its modern side, with the main train station and its spacious forecourt in particular making a lasting impression. The building underwent a complete renovation from 2009-2014, is ultra-modern and architecturally very well thought out. That makes exploring the landscape twice as much fun and is, moreover, a must, since Salzburg is nestled in a breathtaking alpine panoramic landscape between the Salzkammergut and the Berchtesgadener Land, whose beauty stays unforgettable for every visitor.

Among the well-known sons and daughters of Salzburg are Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Maria Anna Mozart, Joseph Mohr, Christian Doppler, Herbert von Karajan, Margot Werner, Franz Muxeneder, Pit Knorr, Gaby Dohm and Felix Baumgartner.
