The Club Oase is located in Oensingen.
Oensingen is a political municipality in the Gäu district of the canton of Solothurn and lies at 465 m above sea level. It is located about 80 km west of the city of Zürich.
First documented in 968, the small town of Oensingen has around 6,000 inhabitants and lies in the canton of Solothurn, having already been a significant settlement in Roman times. For tourists, Oensingen offers a rich and well-developed range of hiking and cycling routes, and the mountains of the Jura can be explored perfectly from Oensingen. Besides the Belchenfluh viewpoint, the Jura Höhenweg offers numerous interesting structures that bear witness to the town's eventful past.
Along the varied routes, visitors can discover not only breathtaking nature but also culinary delights of the region in the mountain inns. The landmark Schloss Neu-Bechburg from the 13th century lures visitors with its romantic castle garden and is known for its rich calendar of events. Accommodation is provided by the town's two hotels, which pamper their guests with typical Swiss hospitality. Besides the two hotels, various restaurants offer their specialties and lodgings.
Thanks to its direct connection to the A1, Oensingen is only 50 kilometres from Baden-Württemberg by car. Oensingen is also easily reached by train from Baden-Württemberg and represents an attractive regional starting point. The train station is served every half hour, and nearby cities such as Basel, Luzern, Bern and Zürich can be reached by train in less than an hour. The public transport network is complemented by the local bus.
