The club FKK Freubad is located in Recherswil right on the A1 motorway.
Recherswil is a municipality in the Wasseramt district near the cantonal border between Solothurn and Bern, right on the A1 motorway. The nearest larger town with its own railway station is Gerlafingen, located 2 km to the west. Apart from a few small and medium-sized businesses, the village is predominantly shaped by agricultural activity. It lies at 458 m above sea level.
The village has been known since the late Middle Ages and back then belonged to the lordship of Halten. In 1466 it came under the city of Solothurn and was assigned to the bailiwick of Kriegstetten. In 1798, after the collapse of the Ancien Régime, Recherswil belonged to the district of Biberist during the Helvetic period, and from 1803 to the district of Kriegstetten, which was officially renamed Bezirk Wasseramt in 1988.
Recherswil is easy to reach via a well-developed road network. The nearest motorway junction of the A1 Bern-Zürich is located 2 km north of the town centre at Kriegstetten.
