The club LaVie is located in Herdern.
Herdern is a political municipality in the district of Frauenfeld in the canton of Thurgau and lies at 498 m above sea level. The place is situated on the Seerücken between Frauenfeld and the Untersee. The municipality consists of the two villages of Lanzenneunforn and Herdern as well as the hamlets of Wilen, Ammenhausen, Kugelshofen and Liebenfels.
The place was already settled in the first centuries AD and over the course of the centuries came under the authority of various monasteries. In Herdern there are two old castles, Schloss Herdern from the 12th century and Schloss Liebenfels from the 13th century. Schloss Herdern is today used as a residential, social and work facility; Schloss Liebenfels was bought up by private individuals and renovated in 1992, and is intended to be made available for spa events and international gatherings.
Herdern can be reached via the A7 motorway and lies about 8 km north of Frauenfeld.
