The Club FKK Zeus is located north of Küssnacht right on the A4 motorway near the cantonal border to the Canton of Lucerne; coming from Küssnacht one takes the Hohle Gasse, which became proverbial through Friedrich Schiller's Wilhelm Tell, which then branches off towards Immensee.
Küssnacht (officially Küssnacht am Rigi until 31 December 2003) lies on the northeastern shore of the Vierwaldstätter See and at the same time on the southwestern edge of the Zuger See at 445 m above sea level. The municipality of Küssnacht consists of the localities Küssnacht with the hamlet Haltikon, Immensee and Merlischachen, and is located about 14 km northeast of the city of Lucerne as well as about 50 km southwest of the city of Zurich. Küssnacht can be reached via the A4 motorway; there are also four train stations: Küssnacht am Rigi, Küssnacht am Rigi LKüS, Merlischachen and Immensee.
In the Middle Ages the town belonged to the Kloster St. Leodegar in Luzern, later the people of Schwyz established themselves here. In 1424 Küssnacht became a district of the Canton of Schwyz.
Küssnacht is a distinctly attractive and also famous travel destination. Accordingly, the hotel and restaurant trade flourishes in particular in the town. Along the chic lakeside promenade of the town one can stroll excellently and set off for a detour into the pretty old town with its historic burgher and half-timbered houses.
Near Küssnacht, the then Queen Astrid of Belgium was fatally injured in an accident in 1935. Between Küssnacht and Merlischachen, the Astrid-Kapelle commemorates this incident.
