The Palladium opened in Au in eastern Switzerland on the border with Vorarlberg at the end of 2013. The club has been lavishly thought out and realized and the name seems to be the program: noble furnishings, noble ambience and ... noble ladies are
characteristics of the Palladium! In the luxurious feel-good oasis you will find many comfortable sofas, a sophisticated bar room with dance stage, a fumoir, as well as a cinema, sauna and jacuzzi and an eating lounge. Originally there was only food by external
order, by now one is supplied with food by the club. In 2014, a small outdoor area with a wooden floor was opened, which also accommodates a whirlpool. In the relatively short time that has passed since the opening of the club, the Palladium has already organised numerous party events.

The Club Palladium is located in Au south of the railway station.
Au is a political municipality in the St. Gallen Rhine Valley in the canton of St. Gallen. It lies directly on the Rhine at 405 m above sea level and is easily accessible via the A13 motorway and the Au (SG) railway station. The Rhine forms the Swiss-Austrian state border here. A bridge leads across to the neighbouring Vorarlberg town of Lustenau. The municipality of Au consists of the settlement centres Au, Haslach, Hard, Monstein, as well as the hamlet of Oberfahr and parts of the village of Heerbrugg.
The location of the village on the narrow pass between Heldsberg and the Rhine has resulted in Au being a transit area since ancient times. Since the Middle Ages at the latest, goods have been moved across the Rhine and much earlier across the country. Au originally belonged to the court of Lustenau. In 1395 it came under Hohenems rule, from 1490 it was federal territory. In 1803, the canton of St. Gallen was newly founded and Au has belonged to it since then. Originally a rural agricultural area, the district experienced a decisive industrial boom in the middle of the 19th century thanks to its favourable location. In 1864 Johann Friedrich Laurenz Block from Emden in Germany founded the Hollandia chicory and mustard factory. In 1874, he supplemented this with the first Rheintal embroidery factory, the "Britannia". The embroidery period, marked by the opening of further embroidery factories, led Au and Heerbrugg into a boom (1880-1914).
The direct motorway connection to the A13 and the border crossing into the EU area make Au und Heerbrugg the hub of the Rhine Valley for public transport. Thanks to its favourable location in terms of transport, the varied infrastructure and the beautiful landscape between the Rhine border river and the Appenzellerland mountain ranges, Au is both an attractive place to live and a business location for numerous local companies.
