Was Sie im Oceans Düsseldorf (D) erwartet

Noble design, exclusive interior - the club, which was inaugurated in 2014 and still looks brand new, offers everything a first-class sauna club needs on a total of 5,000 square metres. The spa resort is one of the largest in German sauna clubs and convinces with a tastefully arranged ensemble of sauna, steam bath, showers, jacuzzi, saline grotto, massage rooms and a quiet zone with a panoramic view through

magnificent glass facades. In the huge lounge, guests can always get drinks of their choice at the long, curved bar and make themselves comfortable on one of the numerous leather canapés. If you don't want to miss out on culinary delights, the Saunaclub Oceans in the club's own à la carte restaurant offers you the opportunity to choose from a variety of freshly and excellently prepared menus and to sit

down at the table with a glass of wine. Cinema lounge, champagne lounge and a spacious outdoor area planted with palm trees are further attributes with which this top club in the Düsseldorf metropolis right at the airport can impress. Couples are also very welcome, as are physically handicapped people, as the club is in an exemplary manner equipped for the disabled. The club is generous towards birthday persons and grants free admission.

Düsseldorf, the state capital of North Rhine-Westphalia, is the insider tip par excellence among the German metropolises with regard to the quality of life and has a lot to offer, a beautiful landscape, the river Düssel and many sporting activities. Why isn't the Rhine metropolis Cologne, which is twice the size of Düsseldorf, the state capital of NRW? - The British occupying powers wanted it that way after World War II! The British had their headquarters in Düsseldorf, where the decisive administrative structures already existed. After the decision had been made in favour of the city on the Düssel, the British founded the state of North Rhine-Westphalia on 21 June 1946.
Düsseldorf is an extremely prosperous city, home to numerous well-known companies from the manufacturing, trade and services sectors. In particular, Düsseldorf is regarded as the leading German fashion metropolis. An impressive 20 public and private universities, such as the Heinrich Heine University, the Düsseldorf Art Academy or the AMD Academy of Fashion & Design, contribute to education today. The football club Fortuna Düsseldorf and also the well-known ice hockey club Düsseldorfer EG inspire their fans. Throughout the year, numerous national and international sporting events take place which are worth visiting. If you prefer to stroll through the city, you are in good hands in the Old Town. Because of the many pubs, the old town is called the "longest bar in the world".
Who has the more beautiful Rhine promenade? As in almost all areas of interest, Düsseldorf is also in an intercultural comparison with its rival Cologne when it comes to this topic. In good old Colonia, where the urban Kölsch beer is regarded as the obligatory drink, the fact that Altbier is the hottest beer here in Düsseldorf's old town is rather contemptuously noted. In any case, Düsseldorf is fashionably up to date and that's why you can stroll up and down the promenade like on a catwalk, if you like, from the Media Harbour with its hip creative architecture and its outstanding 240 m high Rhine Tower up to the old imperial estate Kaiserswerth or at least to the Golzheim city garden right on the Rhine, where half of Düsseldorf seems to gather in fine weather.
Düsseldorf is also the Nippon on the Rhine - in no other German city has Japanese culture spread so extensively over decades as in Düsseldorf, based primarily on flourishing trade relations, and this is honoured annually here on the Rhine with Japan Day. Opposite on the left bank of the Rhine - also every year - one of the largest folk festivals in Germany, the Rheinkirmes, takes place. Numerous other parks and several castles and manor houses such as the Nordpark/Aquazoo and the Rococo/Baroque Castle Benrath are open to visitors in Düsseldorf.
Düsseldorf, the shopping city: Schadowstrasse is one of the most frequented shopping miles in Germany. It runs from the so-called Wehrhahn westwards through the city centre and ends practically directly in Düsseldorf's most magnificent mile, the KÖ. The shopping boulevard Königsallee naturally also invites you to shop in the futuristic shopping centre Sevens-Center as well as in the elegant and chic KÖ galleries and the Schadow-Arkaden on the KÖ. The arcades enchant with their gleaming granite façade and the seemingly free-floating glass cylinder above the main entrance. The German Opera on the Rhine, which is operated in cooperation with the City Theatre of Duisburg, is located diagonally opposite the Hofgarten.
How do you get to Düsseldorf quickly? Düsseldorf Airport NRW is the intercontinental hub of North Rhine-Westphalia and enables a fast transfer from all national and many international airports. Arrival by car can be made via the federal motorways A 44, A 46, A 52, A 57 and the A 59. The federal roads B 1, B 7, B 8, B 228 and B 326 lead across the city to every destination. The tram network even leads to Krefeld, Duisburg and Benrath.
Among Düsseldorf's famous sons and daughters are Heinrich Heine, Gustaf Gründgens, Hugo Wilhelm Henkel, Helmut Käutner, Jürgen Habermas, Heide Keller, Rosemarie Nitribitt, Thomas Allofs, Doro Pesch, Heike Makatsch, Heino, Wim Wenders, Marie Bäumer, Marius Müller-Westernhagen and Campino.
