Was Sie im Venus Friedrichshafen (D) erwartet

In the middle of the red light district right next to the Friedrichshafen airport, in addition to other establishments, you will also find the Club Venus, which operates a mixed concept of contact bar and sauna club. The two-storey building houses the bar and the health resort

on the upper floor, access to the bar is free and possible in street clothes. Those who opt for the chargeable wet area with sauna, steam bath and jacuzzi should be aware that they are in a rather lost position here, as it is in the bar area where the action is. In the upper

floor of the building, one can also step out onto a small balcony terrace. The club is not a nudist club, there are usually 5-10 girls in the house. On the ground floor there is a small walk-in brothel, which is open daily from 09 a.m. The club is a partner club of the --> Club Venus Offenburg.

Friedrichshafen is located on the northern shore of Lake Constance at 400 m above sea level, about 20 km southwest of Ravensburg, and can be reached via the federal road B31 and the Friedrichshafen Hafen and Friedrichshafen Stadt train stations. The city also has an airport, and this is not just any airport: Friedrichshafen is the city where the Zeppelin was born. Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin, who came from Constance, settled the production of his famous rigid airships, the Zeppelins, here in the last years of the 19th century and thus initiated a pioneering achievement of German airship aviation in Friedrichshafen. As a result, the aircraft manufacterer "Luftfahrzeug-Motorenbau GmbH", founded by Wilhelm Maybach on the initiative of Zeppelin, also settled in Friedrichshafen in 1912; in 1915, the gearwheel factory ZF Friedrichshafen was added and in 1922, the Dornier plant was established here. Today, the Zeppelin and Dornier museums are compulsory programs for visitors.
The area of today's Friedrichshafen originally belonged to the diocese of Constance. Friedrichshafen was created in 1811 from the former imperial city of Buchhorn by merging with the nearby village and monastery of Hofen on the same bay of Lake Constance, which at that time was under the control of the Tettnang regional office. The city was named after the first Württemberg king Friedrich I (1754-1816). Friedrichshafen was already prospering at that time as a privileged free port and trading centre for trade with Switzerland. In 1847, the first railway connection was made on the Friedrichshafen-Ravensburg section. At the end of the 19th century, the legendary upswing began with the settlement of the airship industry as described above.
Since the 1970s, Friedrichshafen has consisted of the core city and the integrated communities of Ailingen, Ettenkirch, Kluftern and Raderach in today's municipal structure. The picturesque location on Lake Constance gives the city a high recreational value. Friedrichshafen is connected to the cities of Meersburg, Überlingen, Konstanz, Lindau and Bregenz around the lake by regular Lake Constance shipping services; a ferry line also connects the city with Romanshorn in Switzerland.
Friedrichshafen lies on the main route of the Upper Swabian Baroque Road. The city's landmark, the castle church, built in 1702, is the focus of this route. At the time of its construction, it was the largest Baroque church on Lake Constance.
Friedrichshafen hosts almost 300 cultural events a year, many of which take place during the summer months as harbour and sea festivals. Other attractions include a sightseeing flight with the Zeppelin NT over Lake Constance and the hinterland, a round trip with one of the numerous passenger ships or a cruise with a pleasure boat.
Since 2003, Friedrichshafen has had its own university, the Zeppelin University.
The machine manufacturer Heinrich Lanz, the entrepreneur Iren Dornier, the musician Stefan Waggershausen and the actress Sotiria Loucopoulos were born in Friedrichshafen.
