Was Sie im FKK Artes Lounge Bayreuth (D) erwartet

With proven know-how, the --> FKK Palmas Group opened a new branch in Ritter-von-Eitzenberger-Straße 7 at the end of 2014, which is a real enrichment for the Bayreuth location, at least for friends of well-kept sauna clubs. The brand new lounge on the

ground floor proves to be a chic contact hall with a small bar and radiates a homey flair with its terracotta colours and pleasant lighting. Well-being can also be achieved in the spa area, which extends over the entire upper floor and is home to a large

panorama sauna, jacuzzi and cosy relaxation zones. What is still missing, however, is an outdoor area, which was originally in the planning stage. After a long, corona-induced break, the FKK Artes was reopened on 1 July 2022 with a slightly different concept as the Artes Lounge.

The club FKK Artes is located in Bayreuth industrial area St. Georgen.
Bayreuth is known worldwide for its puppet theatre Operla, founded in 2008, its tradition as a brewery location and its scenic location between the Fichtelgebirge mountains and Franconian Switzerland near the Czech border.
And then there's Richard Wagner, the genius composer who reinvented music in his time and whose enormous operatic works are the musical equivalent of a sexual hysteria. Wagner moved to Bayreuth in 1870; he had the idea of having a festival theatre built here for his compositions. The city of Bayreuth supported him in his project and made the undeveloped property of the Green Hill available to him outside the city. At the same time Wagner acquired a plot of land at the Hofgarten for the construction of his residential house, which Wagner named "Haus Wahnfried" after the Hessian town of Wanfried near Eschwege.
On 13 August 1876, the premiere of the complete Nibelungen Ring took place in the new opera house on three days and one preceding evening. Among the guests were Franz Liszt, Anton Bruckner, Karl Klindworth, Camille Saint-Saëns, Peter Tschaikowski, Edvard Grieg, Lew Tolstoi, Paul Lindau, Friedrich Nietzsche and Gottfried Semper, as well as Emperor Wilhelm I, Emperor Pedro II of Brazil and King Karl of Württemberg. King Ludwig II had visited the dress rehearsals from 6 to 9 August and returned to Bayreuth for the third and final performance cycle. Since then, the Richard Wagner Festival, which is dedicated to the master's last ten operas, has taken place annually, first with interruptions, and since 1951 as a rule every year from 25 July to 28 August. It is a cultural event of the first order in the world of music.
Haus Wahnfried was owned by the Wagner family until 1973. The Wagner clan had resided there for decades and conducted the Wagner cult. Since 1976 Haus Wahnfried has housed the Richard Wagner Museum.
Richard Wagner's music and the Wagner clan were always received in the music world as well as in society in a highly contradictory way. Although Wagner's musical genius is undisputed, his pompous works are by no means always appreciated by music experts. This is partly due to their theatricality, which is often more ridiculous than that of other opera works, but also to their explicit, no less theatrical Germanic cult and the implicit anti-Semitism that Richard Wagner at least cherished. As a result, Adolf Hitler himself was one of Wagner's most fervent admirers and, from the 1920s onwards, regularly visited Haus Wahnfried as an intimus of the Wagner clan. While Friedrich Nietzsche wrote in 1873: "I still think, at some point we all sit together in Bayreuth and don't even understand anymore how one could bear it anywhere else", Thomas Mann described the city as a "place of suggestive deception", Alban Berg as an "empty delusion" and for George Bernhard Shaw Bayreuth was a "terribly dull small town".
Worth seeing in Bayreuth apart from the Wagner context and the numerous museums are the Margrave's Opera House, the New Palace with Court Garden as well as the restored facade of the destroyed Old Palace, the Hermitage, the Order Palace St. Georgen, the Colmdorf Palace, the Thiergarten Hunting Lodge, the Birken Palace, the Victory Tower and the Rollwenzelei with its Poetry Room as well as the castle estates of the city of Bayreuth. They all bear witness to the rich past of the once Franconian county and today's university town, which received its town charter at the beginning of the 13th century and which, despite its perfectly Bavarian-sounding name, did not come to Bavaria until 1810.
