The ancient Romans already knew that sauna sessions were beneficial. The glamorous characteristic of the Golden Time is its paradisiacal, densely wooded outdoor area in the style of a well-kept English garden with a pond, pretty plants and extensive sunbathing lawns, which is about ten times the size of the indoor area. The club is very concerned about the physical well-being of its guests. Around the clock different menus are prepared here in
the front cooking concept, the menu is provided weekly and can be seen in advance on the website of the club. The offer is supplemented by a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. You can follow important sporting events on large screens in all comfort. Golden Time is one of the most prestigious sauna clubs in Germany and is available seven days a week. The Golden Time Club is located in Brüggen near the Bracht district.
The municipality of Brüggen is located in the Lower Rhine region in the west of North Rhine-Westphalia in the cross-border Maas-Schwalm-Nette Nature Park. Attractions include Brüggen Castle, dating from the 13th century, and the Museum of Natural History, which is housed in the castle. It is also worth visiting the former city gate, the St. Nicholas Church and the Jewish cemetery. If you want to do some sports, the indoor swimming pool in Brüggen is the right place for you. For animal lovers, the nature and animal park can be recommended right next to the Golden Time sauna club, where you will find numerous exotic animals from all continents.
The shops in Brüggen are open on Sundays and public holidays from the beginning of March to the end of October and invite you to shop. In the course of the year, many events such as markets, castle festivals or the Old Town Festival take place. In combination with its attractive location within the nature park, Brüggen is a worthwhile excursion destination for day tourists on both sides of the German-Dutch border. The sequoia farm with its giant sequoia stock in the neighbouring Kaldenkirchen border forest is worth a detour.
Brüggen in NRW can be reached by car from Roermond, Düsseldorf or Neuss via the A52, from Venlo via the A40 or the A61 (A73/A74 on Dutch side) and from the Ruhr area via the A40 motorway. By train it is possible to reach the stations Kaldenkirchen, Breyell, Dülken or Viersen. From these places Brüggen can be reached by bus. The Mönchengladbach main station is also only 25 kilometres away, from where there are connections to trains to long-distance stations.
