Was Sie im Golden Gate Grefrath (D) erwartet

REOPENING AFTER RENOVATION ON 09/15/2022 AS GOLDEN GATE FKK! -The Golden Gate Grefrath - until August 2018 Villa Vertigo, later Villa Vanilla - is a tastefully restored Art Nouveau villa with a modern flat extension presenting itself in the best tradition as a high-quality club, where high emphasis is placed on the well-being of the guests. The entire club area, which also includes a large, secluded parking lot, is approximately 10000 sqm large; by far the biggest part of it has the spacious, very

well-kept garden, to which one can descend from both parts of the building via pretty viewing terraces and staircases. The showpiece of the villa and central eye-catcher is the swimming pool, which is perfectly integrated into the architecture; with harmonious evening lighting you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view from the terraces. The Golden Gate has a large bar area and many cozy chill-out zones; worth noting in particular are the high-quality service rooms for the guests' discreet pleasure.

The club also offers hot and cold meals and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The Golden Gate is an idyllic place of rest with a high recreational value, where people like to relax from the stresses and strains of everyday life. Since 2016, the predecessor club Villa Vertigo officially belonged to the --> Magnum Erkrath/Düsseldorf in the meantime and was thus also a partner club of the --> Planet Happy Garden in the neighboring town of Toenisvorst near Oedt, which is only 5 kilometers away.

Club Golden Gate is located in Grefrath on the southern edge of the town centre.
The town of Grefrath belongs to the district of Viersen and is located in the west of North Rhine-Westphalia in the Maas-Schwalm-Nette Nature Park not far from the border with the Netherlands. Nearby towns are Kempen 7 kilometres away, Viersen 12 kilometres away and Krefeld 16 kilometres away. Thanks to the excellent motorway connection, the Dutch city of Venlo can be reached from Grefrath in just a few minutes by car. The major cities of the Ruhr area can also be reached in a short time. Grefrath is connected to the Ruhr area and the Rhineland via the A40 and A61 motorways. The Dutch A74 motorway junction, which was completed just a few years ago, connects the municipality via the A61 with the A73 leading through the Netherlands. The A40 also crosses the Dutch border and becomes the A67.
Grefrath in NRW has no railway station of its own, the nearest major railway stations are in Viersen, Kempen and Krefeld. However, the city is connected to its neighbouring communities by numerous public transport bus lines. From the central Bergerplatz, for example, line 019 runs to Mönchengladbach and line 078 to Geldern. With the line SB 87 you get from Grefrath to Viersen or Kempen and the line 093 runs via Grefrath between Kaldenkirchen and Kempen.
Grefrath's name was first mentioned in the 12th century. Historically it belonged to the Duchy of Geldern, later to the Spanish Netherlands. In 1713 Spanish Geldern fell to Prussia as a result of the Peace of Utrecht, in 1794 it was incorporated into French territory by Napoleon; in 1815 Grefrath again came under Prussian domain. To Grefrath belong the districts Grefrath, Vinkrath, Mulhouse and since 1 January 1970 the until then independent municipality Oedt.
Grefrath officially owns the title Sport and Leisure Community. The Niers flowing through the town creates a small natural paradise which is ideal for hiking and cycling excursions as well as boat and canoe tours. The sports-oriented infrastructure of the city also includes a sports airfield. Places of interest in the city and its surroundings are the ruins of Uda Castle, Oedt's landmark, Dorenburg Castle on the grounds of the Lower Rhine Open Air Museum and the old town centre of the neighbouring town of Kempen 7 kilometres further east. There are two hotels in Grefrath, the PP-Hotel Grefrather Hof and the Hotel Haffmans. There are also several guest houses to choose from.
