Was Sie im DejaVu VIP Club Wachtendonk erwartet

In a forest very close to the Straelen motorway exit, the last exit of the A40 before the Dutch border, until a few years ago a forest café with a large beer garden and restaurant, known under the name "Haus Erika", was located in an idyllic and discreet location. After extensive renovation work, a Day & Night Club opened there at the end of 2016 under the same name and

with a recognisable aesthetic claim, which was also conceived as a spa club and therefore could also be described as a sauna club with some justification. At first, the club only had a short lifespan; after a few months of start-up and a subsequent intermezzo as a swingers club, operations were de facto discontinued. On 15 September 2018, the club was reopened under the name

"DéjàVu VIP Club Wachtendonk". As was the case at the first opening, the facility is characterized by a stylish ambience; the aim here is to attract discerning guests in distinguished circles with high-quality leisure  facilities, catering and service offers. The club is currently home to 10-15 women. Due to its location close to the border, the club is especially aimed at the Dutch public.

The DejaVu Vip Club is located in a wooded area on the A40, about 1 km east of the Straelen exit.
Wachtendonk is a municipality in the Lower Rhine plain in the district of Kleve, consisting since 1 July 1969 of the two villages Wachtendonk and Wankum and their associated districts.
The area around Wachtendonk was settled in early times by Romans and later by Franks. Around the 9th century it was called Geisseren and was the territory of the Electorate of Cologne. The bailiffs of the Archbishop of Cologne built the first castle here on a hill called Donk, known as Vogtenburg, from which the present name of the settlement built in the castle's shadow is derived. In 1343 it was granted town rights, which it lost only in 1794 under Napoleonic occupation. Between 1343 and 1468 there was a bitter dispute between the duchies Kleve and Geldern about Wachtendonk, after the battle of Straelen the town fell to Geldern.
During the Eighty Years' War (1568-1648), the Dutch fight for freedom against the Spanish rule, Wachtendonk was conquered several times by the Dutch and reconquered by Spanish troops. In 1607 the once proud and handsome castle was demolished by the Spaniards. In 1713, after the end of the War of Spanish Succession, Wachtendonk finally fell to Prussia in the peace of Utrecht and remained there - with the exception of the years 1794-1815 under French occupation - until its collapse in 1945.
With the support of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Wachtendonk has a beautifully restored town centre with numerous listed buildings such as the parish church of St. Michael, the Pulver Tower, Haus Püllen, the town hall, the manor house Langenfeld and the ruins of Wachtendonk Castle on the banks of the river Niers. The region is also a popular excursion destination for day tourists from both sides of the German-Dutch border due to its idyllic location on the Schwalm-Nette Nature Park with destinations such as the Wankum Heath, the recreational paradise "Blue Lagoon", the Niers River with its numerous leisure activities and a large number of attractive restaurants.
